There are basically two ways the Autocom systems can be powered... 9volt or 12volt. The Easi-PLUS and Active-PLUS can both be powered portably using a standard 9volt battery, or alternatively connected to the bike's 12volt power.
The Autocom Easi-PLUS system comes out-of-the-box ready to run on a 9volt battery. Depending on the age and condition of the battery, the Easi-PLUS will run from14 hours to 25+ hours. Alterantively, the Easi-PLUS can be connected to your bike's battery using a 9volt-to-12volt power lead.
The Active-PLUS system (Active Rider Kit) comes with both a 9volt battery connector and a 12volt bike power lead (Part 1536).
The Super Pro AVi system is 12volt power ONLY, and this unit comes with the necessary 12volt power lead.
