There are basically two ways the Autocom systems can be powered... Portably or 12volt Bike Powered.

The new Logic systems can both be powered portably using standard AA batteries (x3), or alternatively connected to the bike's 12volt power.

The Logic systems come "out-of-the-box" ready to run on a AA batteries.  Depending on the age and condition of the battery, the Logics will run for approximately 30 to 50+ hours.

Alternatively, the Logic can be connected to your bike's battery using the standard 12volt power lead (part 2427)

The Super Pro Auto system is 12volt power ONLY, and this unit comes with the necessary 12volt power lead.
