Unfortunately mobile phone manufacturers do not make universal connections on their phones. So with certain phones you may need an adaptor.
Autocom has release two new Bluetooth Adaptors (Dongles) which now allow riders to wirelessly connect Bluetooth devices to their Autocom systems.
There are basically two ways the Autocom systems can be powered... 9volt or 12volt. The Easi-PLUS and Active-PLUS can both be powered portably using a standard 9volt battery, or alternatively connected to the bike's 12volt power.
GPS units can be connected to all the Autocom systems. There are currently two purpose built motorcycle GPS systems available on the market.
The Garmin Zumo 550 is a purpose built motorcycle GPS navigation unit. The Zumo allows the Rider to view and hear navigation prompts, connect and control their mobile phone, as well as load and hear MP3 music.
There are two TomTom Rider GPS models that can be connected into Autocom systems.
