Mobile Phone Auto-Answering

Mobile phones will auto-answer on all Autocom systems.  It is the actual phone's settings that determines this, as this happens with any hands-free device plugged into the phone.  This can normally be set within your phones menu system, and you should see this option for "Auto Answer on Headset" (or something similar).

Special Note on Samsung Phones:

(Please Note that the Samsung range of phones DO NOT have Auto-Answer functions.  Adaptors for Samsung phones can be used if manually answering phone.  However please use Bluetooth Adaptors if Auto-Answer is required.)

Bluetooth Adaptors

Autocom Bluetooth Adaptors are designed to Auto-Answer for incoming phone calls.  Please disable the "Auto Answer" function on phones which are connected to Autocom system.

Mobile Phone Adaptors

Unfortunately mobile phone manufacturers do not make universal connections on their phones.  So with certain phones you may need an adaptor.

Each of the Autocom Kits come with a standard (3.5mm-to-2.5mm) cable.  The 3.5mm plug connects into the Autocom "Phone" jack (normally AUX 1), while the 2.5mm plug connects directly into either the phone or an adaptor.  Please refer to the Product Listing/Pricing section for a list of Phone adaptors.  If you cannot find your phone listed, please feel free to contact us for advice.
