Connecting Autocom Headset to an Existing GoldWing intercom.
If choosing to utilise Autocom Headsets with an existing Goldwing Intercom system, there are three (3) components required (depending on which Goldwing you have)

The standard Autocom Headset (Part 1153) is required, and will fit into most standard Full-Face, Open-Face, or Flip-Front helmets.
Because of the high quality speakers & headsets manufactured by Autocom, the headsets use a 7-pin DIN plug.
It is therefore required to convert the 5-pin Goldwing plugs from 5-pin to 7-pin for the Autocom Headsets.
There are two (2) types of Extension Leads available which connect from the Goldwing Interface Leads up to the Rider & Pillion Headsets. These Extension Leads come in two types: Straight (Part 195) and Coiled (Part 196)

There are two (2) Goldwing Interface Leads/Adaptors available, depending on which Goldwing you have.
These interface leads are placed under the seat of the bike, and interface between the existing Goldwing headset leads (which run to the outside of the bike), and the internal Goldwing communication system.
The RED power lead coming from the Autocom interface is connected to the Goldwing's AUX power. This is required to send power to the Autocom headsets. Please refer to the downloadable Installation Instructions below for further information.
